This month's film, "David Wants to Fly", is sponsored by the Germany Embassy. A young German Filmmaker decides to try Transcendental Meditation (TM). His idol has assured him personally that TM is a source of creativity and the key to success.

This film is presented as part of the monthly  3rd Thursday SIS Film Series at AU. Film begins at 6:30pm after a brief reception. This new series fosters global understanding through an engaging lineup of documentary films provided by Washington, D.C. embassies. Third Thursday screenings are free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required.  Over the next few months films from Israel, France and Thailand will be featured.

Metro: Tenleytown, take the free  AU shuttle system to Hughes Hall/ Kogod Stop. Walk on the pathway between Kogod School of Business and College of Arts and Science. Make a right when you have reached the Quadrangle. Mary Graydon Center will be on the right, between College of Arts and Science and School of Communications. For those driving, parking is available in the garage beneath the SIS building at the intersection of Nebraska and New Mexico Avenues, NW. The Mary Graydon Center is just a short walk from the garage.
