Local Artist Dana Ellyn hosts an Open Studio!
Saturday, August 25th
11:00am - 4:00pm
Free
Come by to see Dana's (pronounced like Anna with a D in front) latest paintings from her "31 Days in July" project along with hundreds of other works from the recent, and not-so-recent past. "Drop in, bring your friends, enjoy some snacks and adult beverages. Have fun digging through stacks andpiles of paintings - and look around at the paintings that adorn the walls from floor to ceiling! Everything from flip files full of inexpensive works on paper, to paintings on canvas ranging in size from 5"x7" up to 50"x50". Here's a preview of the large scale un-stretched canvas paintings available."
P.S. Please note, the street directly in front of the building will be closed (no cars) on Saturday for a 70's themed Block Party and Street Festival celebrating Chuck Brown's birthday at the MLK Library.
