Love BloomBars and so happy to see some Kirtan coming to the space this Saturday. As always, events at BloomBars are by donation, no one turned away due to lack of funds

Bhakti Tree is doing a show in DC, and their good friend Rufus Juskus will open the evening with chanting starting at 8:00pm, and around 9:00pm Bhakti Tree will offer an array of original sacred music and ecstatic devotional chanting. If you want to be seated on the floor, please bring your own cushion and/or blankets! Chairs will be provided.

Bhakti Tree is comprised of Adam Kandel on voice, guitar, and drum, Angela Blueskies on voice and flute, Dorianne Aillery on voice and hand percussion, Mark Dee on voice, didgeridoo, and drum), and Ryan Sansing on voice and drum.

More about Bhakti Tree "With diverse musical backgrounds, these musicians connected through the kirtan community in Baltimore, and they soon discovered that there was a real synergy and flow in the music they were creating together. Bhakti Tree spins together traditional mantras, sacred chants and songs from around the world, and their own original songs. They blend together their ethereal harmonies and lyrical melodies with high energy tribal rhythm, threads of folk and gospel music, and funky reggae elements."
