This year's annual fish fry will be open to the public and will benefit the District Alliance for Safe Housing, or DASH. Some of the things they'll be frying up: Arkansas-style Fried Catfish, Justin's Famous Vegetarian Hush Puppies, Vegan Fried Zucchini and Fried Okra, Fried Twinkies, Fried Snickers, Fried Oreos - Vegetarian.
DASH will also have a table and will be available to answer questions about their organization and the work that they do. In addition to the treats above, local purveyor of fine vegan treats Goûter will have a table featuring their delicious and delectable raw, vegan treats, tonics and super-food. I believe these will be available for purchase, not included in the donation based admission. Not sure though, you may want to bring some cash along just in case.
