National Independence Day Parade
Parade runs along Constitution Avenue from 7th to 17th streets, NW
starts at 11:45am
The Parade consists of invited bands, fife and drum corps, floats, military and specialty units, giant balloons, equestrian, drill teams, VIP's, national dignitaries, and celebrity participants.
Metro: Archives closest to 7th, Farragut West closest to 17th

America's favorite Independence Day tradition will feature unrivaled performances from some of the country's best-known musical names topped off by the greatest display of fireworks anywhere in the nation.

The National Archives will celebrate the 236th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence with its traditional Fourth of July program including patriotic music, a dramatic reading of the Declaration by historical reenactors and descendants of the Signers, and exciting free family activities and entertainment for all ages.
