CNA New Media Half-Day Conference on "Old Problems, New Media: Next-Generation Solutions for the Public Goodin Arlington, VA
Tuesday, July 10th
7:30am - 1:15pm
Free, RSVP requested but not required

"The fields of education, health care, public safety, and national security share common challenges in reaching their constituencies and fostering action. Whether rooted in access, mobility, or security concerns, these challenges present obstacles for creating sound policy solutions. New media, alone, are not a panacea for these problems. However, they can be a catalyst for change that enhances the reach of existing policies, creates new opportunities, increases the speed of interaction, and empowers public action. The purpose of this half-day conference is to explore two key questions: how can public and private stakeholders use new media to mobilize action, and how can they use these tools to support data analysis?" Registration is available free of charge; lunch is provided. Registration is on a first-come/first-serve basis. Register now.
