Golda "The Medicine Woman of Jazz" comes back to DC this Friday night and I'm sad to say that I'll be out of town this weekend and will be missing her annual Po' Jazz event at The Potter's House. This NYC-area based spitfire is something to behold. If you are free this Friday night I definitely recommend checking her out!

The evening will featuring: Golda Solomon, words, Christopher Dean Sullivan, bass artisan and E.J. Antonio, poet, Elizabeth Lara, poet, Ernesto Lara & Friends and Phylisha Villanueva, slam artist. Donations this week benefit the John F. Kennedy High School in Silver Spring, MD
