Each Spring, Hamiltonian Gallery culminates its year of exhibitions by selecting an established artist to curate a group show that will include all of the Hamiltonian Fellows. This year, Tim Doud, painter and Co-Director of the MFA program at American University, guided the Fellows in an exhibition that thrusts new ideas into their studio practices.

DC March Against Torture, Guantanamo and the NDAA
March in orange jumpsuits from the Capitol to the White House

The public is invited to join the National Religious Campaign Against Torture, Witness Against Torture, Amnesty International and many others in the fight against torture, Guantanamo and indefinite detention this June, Torture Awareness Month! They will march, in orange jumpsuits, from the US Capitol to the White House on Sunday June 24th, to demand and end to human rights abuses. Keynote Speaker: Stephen Xenakis, MD, Ret. Brigadier General. More info on invite. If you want to march, meet at the reflecting pool in front of the US Capitol, of course, you can also just witness or meet up with them at the end of the march at the White House, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, near McPherson Sq metro. 

A Storytelling Journey of Immigration, Migration and Home
