If you want to bike in, there will be a free group ride led by the folks at City Bikes, from their Adams Morgan shop, at 2501 Champlain St., NW near Columbia Rd, leaving at 1:00pm. The ride will include a tour of the city's community gardens and will end at The Fridge just in time for the film screening and social hour. Email ben@citybikes.com for more info on the ride.



Bike in, or walk in to this Cycle-In Cinema, a sweet social hour and an exclusive screening of the feature-length documentary screening of  "A Community of Gardeners." Free munchies and snacks from KIND and Food Should Taste Good, and beverages from Honest Tea will be provide. No bike, no problem, The Fridge is a short walk from the  Eastern Market Metro.  





About the film: "A Community of Gardeners" Directed and produced by Cintia Cabib, this flick explores the importance of seven community gardens in DC that provide fresh and nutritious food, when it’s often otherwise unavailable in Washington’s inner city communities.Whether you’re an expert gardener or barely know the different between a radish and a rutabaga, it's worth the watch. After the screening, there'll be a post-flick discussion with the filmmaker and other urban sustainability advocates.
