Tree Fever
"Micheline Klagsbrun’s solo show at Studio Gallery is a gorgeous whirlwind of color, movement, and transformation. Klagsbrun’s show is comprised of two separate bodies of work; the first is a series of huge intensely colored paintings based off the poetry from Ovid’s Metamorphosis, and the second is a series of small works on paper inspired by the poetry of Dylan Thomas."

Scapes and Escapes
"Through her work, Carol Rubin performs a disappearing act, imagining herself in a swath of landscapes, real and invented.  Her abstracted forms react to spaces, such as the Dupont Circle view from her 4th floor studio, or the sensory-assaulting cacophony of a Senegalese market."
