"Sunsets with a Soundtrack" Kaleidoscope: All the colors in the musical spectrum in one evening of music. "From Sousa’s El Capitan, to John Williams’ Summon the Heroes, to Wilhousky’s Battle Hymn of the Republic featuring the voices of The U.S. Army Chorus."
"The U.S. Army Band continues its annual tradition of concerts on the West Steps of the U.S. Capitol with “Sunsets with a Soundtrack.” This year begins a new tradition of Thursday and Friday performances at 8:00 p.m. throughout the summer months. All performances are free, and audience members are invited to sit on the steps in front of the band, or enjoy the surrounding public spaces on the Capitol grounds for the best view in the nation’s capital."
