This Sunday's performance will include Beethoven, Liszt, Rachmaninoff. Also performing will be Matthew Richardson on violin and Michelle Laurent on  piano, playing Sonata for Piano and violin in a minor op 23 by Beethoven. Performance followed by a reception.

About the artists: 

Yoo Sun Park, pictured above, is originally from South Korea. She came to the United States for her education and graduated from Cono Christian School in Iowa in 2008, earning her high school diploma. Currently, she is a junior studying piano performance with Dr. Anna Balakerskaia for a B.M. at George Mason University.

Miss Laurent teaches at the Potomac Arts Academy and maintains an active private piano studio in Ashburn, VA. She is currently studying piano performance with Dr. Anna Balakerskaia at George Mason University (as is Ms. Park). 

Violinist and Masters of Music candidate Matthew Richardson was a finalist at the Orfeo International Music Competition. Mr. Richardson performs in the first violin sections of the Fairfax Symphony and is on the faculty of the Catoctin School of Music in Leesburg, VA, while maintaining an active private studio at his home in Falls Church, VA.
