Daniel Abraham, conductor and director of choral activities Johann Sebastian Bach: Christ lag in Todes banden, BWV 4 (1707) George Frideric Handel: Te Deum for the Peace of Dettingen, HWV 283 (1743) An exciting program of two masterworks from the Baroque period for singers and soloists performed along with period instruments. Join us to explore the introspective Bach in one of his most beloved early cantatas and a glorious and triumphant late work by Handel.

Throughout April, local artists at the Gateway Gallery Artists’ Co-operative welcome Spring with art and fine crafts expressing the freshness of the season. Highlighting the April and May exhibit are works by the gallery’s newest members – Kaarin Nelson’s vibrant paintings, Steena Fullmer’s luminous glass tableware and décor, and Joe Cunningham’s intriguing photographic etchings. Also featured are fiber arts and jewelry by founding member Mary Kenesson. Meet the artists, see demonstrations of how their work is created, and enjoy refreshments.
