"After years of separation, 15-year-old Sebastian suddenly shows up at his father's dilapidated apartment in Prenzlauer Berg. Sebastian's mother has moved to the suburbs with her boyfriend, and he doesn't feel at home with her anymore. Sebastian's father – an out-of-work country music fan who too often drowns his troubles in drink – has had no luck adapting to the economy of the reunified Germany. Sebastian, who knows what it takes to succeed in this brave new world, sets about coaching his Dad for the next interview."

Netto has won several prizes, including a 2005 German Film Critics Award for Best Debut Film and a Promotion Award at the 2005 Ophüls Festival.
