The Sixth Annual International Children's Festival will take place at the Ronald Reagan Building this year and will feature over 20 educational booths hosted by foreign embassy representatives,  traditional dance and music performances by local and international groups, and an international children’s parade featuring the traditional dress of the participating countries.

Sample world cuisine, and enjoy International dance and world music performances at this event, designed to promote international understanding through the exchange of ideas, people, and culture. Children and their families will have a chance to learn about different countries and cultures through interactive embassy booth displays. There will also be tutorials in world geography, exciting cultural displays and hands-on activities, introductions to the traditional dress of different countries, and lessons on cultural traditions, crafts, and games.

Performance Groups include: Carpathia Folk Dance Ensemble, FC Pachamama presented by the Embassy of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, German School Washington, DC presented by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Happenstance Theatre presented by Alliance Française de Washington, DC, Karabakh Foundation Dancers, Kesem presented by the Embassy of Israel, Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington DC, O'Neill-James School of Irish Dancing, Positive Vibrations Youth Steel Orchestra (PVYSO) presented by the Embassy of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Rumah Gadang Group – USA, and Umanda Weerasinghe.
