New Monday Night Meditation Workshop Series at the Shaw Library

Join author, musician, teacher and long-time D.C. Resident David Newcomb, pictured, for a three-part workshop that will introduce you to Jyoti Meditation and the happiness of knowing who you are. Although the classes are cumulative, he will double back to accommodate people attending the second or third class after having missed the first class.

The Spiritual Path in Music

In the final session, there will be a conversation about how peoples' practices have been going and a further exploration of finding a spiritual path through music, using music and lyrics composed by the teacher.

Newcomb began his meditation practice in 1976. He served as the Washington, D.C., coordinator for Science of Spirituality from 1996 through 2002, and again from 2007 to 2008. Currently, he serves as its Mid-Atlantic Regional Outreach Coordinator.
