"This inspiring film chronicles the successful struggle of Bayview, VA - a small, poor, rural African-American community. Catalyzed by the defeat of a state plan to build a max security prison in their backyards, the powerful women leaders & residents create the Bayview Citizens for Social Justice and pursue their own vision of community development. Q&A with Sylvia Robinson, Exec Dir, Emergence Community Arts Collective will follow the screening".
