All ages, Free
The qualifying teen poets from this year's slams compete to make it to the grand slam finals. Only the top ten make it on to finals. Come cheer for your favorite poet! The evening will feature 19 year old Egyptian-American spoken word poet and former DC Youth Slam Team Champion Jinahie and will be hosted by the Beltway Poetry Slam Team's Joseph LMS (who is also leading a poetry workshop by the way on Wednesday evening at Bloombars if you want to check that out, see post on this site). This event is organized with the help of Split this Rock and the NPG.
