The Humanities Council of Washington DC hosts a discussion this Tuesday as part of their "Humanitini" series - which has two more events coming up, one on Tuesday, March 6th ( see invite) and one on Tuesday, March 13th (see invite). This week's discussion revolves around everything transportation related in DC! The panel - which includes Josh Moskowitz from the DC Dept of Transportation, Ben Goldman of DCStreets blog, Monika Samtani of WUSA-9's "The Extra Mile," Daniel Hoagland of the Washington Area Bicyclists' Association, and a representative from Greater Greater Washington - will look at all sides of issues ranging from Metro fare hikes and congested freeways to transportation informed urban planning and bike lanes. The panel will be moderated by Amy Saidman of SpeakeasyDC. All Winter 2012 Humanitinis will be held at Bohemian Caverns: Tap and Parlour.
