Sponsored by the African American History Museum, taking place at the National Portrait Gallery, McEvoy Auditorium, Free. The Loving Story is a documentary directed by Nancy Buirski, investigates the lives of Mildred and Richard P. Loving, a black woman and white man who struggled to live as a married couple in the state of Virginia where, in 1958, interracial marriage was against the law. A panel discussion including the film's director and legal scholars follows! More info about the screening here as well.

This film will also be on HBO on Valentine's Day this February at 9:00pm!
