Joan Hisaoka Art Gallery at the Smith Center for Healing and the Arts, in partnership with Albus Cavus, an arts group that transforms communities through public art, presents an open reception for Art @ Work! A number of my friend John Grunwell's latest pieces will be featured alongside with works by lots of other awesome DC-area artists, most of whom work in the arenas of "street art" and graffiti. "

"Art @ Work, a collaboration with the Albus Cavus arts group, features over 40 local graffiti artists working with local children and residents to beautify DC’s public spaces, including DECOY, Ben Tolman, Kelly Towles, Aniekan Udofia, CHE, and Jazirock! Over the course of 3 on-site mural workshops, visitors will work together with graffiti-mural artists to transform the gallery into a working studio, creating a large-scale mural that will be permanently installed in a local neighborhood."
