"Included in the exhibition are drawings and a scale model of “The Large House of Humanity,” 1998, an unrealized project designed for the bank of the Potomac River in Washington DC. The proposed monument has a perimeter of 70 x 50 meters and a height commensurate with the Washington Monument. The white metal construction forms the contours of a traditional American home with a mansard roof. From a distance this gigantic “house” appears like a white mirage against the blue sky."
