Do you love local history? Are you enjoy meeting others who share you love of DC history... even if it's a little morbid? This year’s Community Heritage Symposium - organized by the Humanities Council of DC - is all about “making connections,” giving local history buffs to connect with each other and connect with the past. At sessions, historians will share non-traditional ways to discover the hidden heritages of communities -- starting out with the secrets buried in graveyards. Read more about the event here.
