PAST: MUSIC: "The Rhythm Road" Concert Series at National Geographic features Jazz, Blues & Gospel this THURS, Nov 4th 6:00pm & 7:15pm, Free

The first performance will be by Paul Beaudry & Pathways playing Jazz and Blues at 6:00pm. This performance will be followed by Turning Pointe, a Gospel Quartet, at 7:15pm.

About the performers:

Paul Beaudry and Pathways - A New York City-based quartet deeply rooted in the jazz and blues tradition that performs original compositions and arrangements along with selected jazz standards along with rousing scat singing, fiery instrumental improvisations, and lively vocal exchanges.

Turning Pointe - A contemporary gospel quartet that bridges the divide between old and new, while preserving gospel’s messages of love, faith, and hope.

This concert is presented in partnership with the State Department's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, Jazz at the Lincoln Center and the National Geographic Society.
