In this class, we discuss DC’s urban ecosystem and explore strategies for involving our communities in the regreening process. The service component includes working with community groups through our Community Tree Planting program, monitoring and maintaining newly planted trees and serving as a voice in the community to support urban forestry and other green infrastructure issues. Note: This is a three class module so if you want credit, you must attend all three classes. Please contact them directly if you have questions.
