PAST: Jazz and Poetry event at The Phillips Collection, THURS, March 5th, Free with Admission, 5:00pm - 8:00pm

Hosted by The Phillips Collection & The American Poetry Museum
Event is free with admission to the museum's permanent collection, which is by donation on Tuesday - Friday. The special exhibition admission is $12.

Poets Brian Gilmore and Brandon Johnson will respond in verse to the sounds of a jazz trio lead by Marshall Keys, marrying poetry and music to create a dynamic new work of art. Hosted by Intersections own, Fred Joiner, the evening will also feature music from the Marshall Keys Trio as well as a gallery talk, " All By Myself-Morandi's Singular Style", which will explore how Georgio Morandi developed and adhered to his own style, though he lived during the advent of several important artistic movements in Italy.
