PAST: BOOK TALK: This THURS, Nov 13th at Politics & Prose, 7:00pm, Free
This Thursday, NOV 13th at 7:00pm at Politics & Prose. At the store: Writer Sharon Waxman will discuss LOOT, her look at the politics of art. Where should the Temple of Dendur be displayed—in Egypt, where it comes from, or the Metropolitan Museum, which lovingly cares for it? How about the Elgin Marbles, the jewel of the British Museum? Should they be returned to Greece?
